Compliance & Legal Notice — Lindahl Holsters
Important: Lindahl Holsters operates in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. By purchasing, requesting a transfer, or shipping items to us, you acknowledge that you are responsible for understanding and complying with the laws in your jurisdiction.
General Compliance Policy
- We will not complete any transaction or transfer that is unlawful or that we reasonably believe may violate any law or regulation.
- We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or return shipments at our discretion when compliance cannot be verified.
- All firearms, frames/receivers, and regulated items must be transferred in accordance with federal law and California law (when applicable).
Customer Responsibility
The customer is solely responsible for ensuring that any firearm, receiver, magazine, ammunition, or accessory is legal to possess, purchase, ship, and transfer in their state and locality.
- Do not order or ship items to us if you are unsure of legality.
- We do not provide legal advice. If you have questions about legality, consult an attorney or your local authorities.
- If an item arrives and cannot be legally transferred or delivered, the customer is responsible for return shipping, restocking, and any applicable fees.
California Compliance
For California customers and California-bound transfers, all items must be California compliant prior to shipment. We do not modify incoming firearms to make them compliant after arrival.
Off-Roster Handguns
California law restricts the transfer of handguns not listed on the CA Handgun Roster. We will only process off-roster handgun transfers when the recipient is legally exempt under California law.
- Off-roster handgun transfers are generally limited to qualified law enforcement officers or other legally exempt individuals.
- Valid agency identification and supporting documentation may be required before shipment.
- If you are not law enforcement or otherwise legally exempt, do not ship an off-roster handgun to our FFL.
FFL Transfers & Regulated Shipments
All firearms, frames/receivers, ammunition shipments, and regulated items must follow our intake and verification process.
- Where required, items must ship from a valid FFL.
- All shipments must include required documentation (FFL copy when applicable, customer details inside the box).
- Items arriving without required information may be refused, delayed, or assessed handling/storage fees.
Prohibited or Restricted Items
We will not process or transfer items that are prohibited by law or that cannot be legally transferred to the intended recipient.
- We do not ship or transfer illegal magazines, firearms, or accessories where prohibited.
- We do not complete transfers of items that cannot be made compliant prior to arrival.
- We may require additional verification for certain configurations, accessories, or regulated components.
Right to Refuse & Return Shipments
We reserve the right to refuse, return, or hold any shipment that is:
- Noncompliant with state or federal law
- Improperly documented
- Addressed incorrectly or lacking required customer information
- Not aligned with our internal compliance policies
If a shipment must be returned to the sender, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs and any applicable fees.
Accuracy of Information
Policies and laws can change without notice. While we aim to keep our information current, it is the customer’s responsibility to verify current legal requirements before ordering, shipping, or initiating a transfer.
