FFL Transfer Policies — Lindahl Holsters

Before Shipping Any Firearm or Regulated Item
All firearms, frames/receivers, ammunition shipments, and regulated items must have a completed FFL Intake Form on file prior to arrival. Packages that arrive without an intake form may be refused or subject to additional processing delays and storage fees.

Firearm Transfer Requirements

To remain compliant with California and federal law, the following requirements apply to all firearm transfers:

• Firearms must be shipped from a valid FFL unless otherwise permitted by law.
• The firearm must be California compliant prior to shipment.
• Customers are responsible for confirming legality before ordering or shipping.
• Lindahl Holsters does not modify firearms to make them compliant after arrival.

If a firearm arrives that cannot legally be transferred, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs and any applicable handling or storage fees.

California Off-Roster Firearms

California law restricts certain transfers of handguns that are not listed on the California Handgun Roster. Lindahl Holsters will process off-roster handgun transfers only when the transaction is legally permitted under California law.

• Off-roster handgun transfers may be available to qualified law enforcement officers or other legally exempt recipients.
• Valid identification and supporting exemption documentation may be required before the transfer is initiated.
• Customers are responsible for confirming that their transaction qualifies for a lawful roster exemption before shipment.

Firearms received that cannot legally be transferred may be returned to the sender at the customer’s expense and may be subject to applicable handling or storage fees.

Intake & Processing

We utilize intake tracking and verification procedures to help ensure accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance.

• An intake form is required before any firearm or regulated item is shipped to us.
• Items arriving without prior notification may experience processing delays.
• Transfer processing begins after the customer completes all required paperwork and eligibility/background check requirements.

Transfer & Receiving Fees

Fees cover receiving, intake, logging, compliance verification, storage handling, and administrative processing where applicable.

• Standard Firearm Transfer: $47.19 state fees + $40.00 dealer processing fee.
• Private Party Transfer (PPT): $47.19 total for the first firearm, including applicable state fees and the $10.00 dealer PPT fee.
• Additional Firearms in a PPT: $10.00 per additional firearm where permitted by law.
• Ammunition Transfer: $5.00 dealer transfer/processing fee, plus any applicable state eligibility-check fees.
• Additional Firearms on Same Non-PPT DROS: $10.00 dealer processing fee per additional firearm.

Government fees and dealer-imposed fees are separate and will be identified accordingly. Applicable taxes and other legally required fees may also apply.

Non-Regulated Parts & Accessories

Lindahl Holsters accepts shipments of ordinary, non-regulated firearm parts and accessories for customer pickup. These may include items that do not require a DROS, background check, or regulated firearm transfer.

• Parts & Accessories Receiving Fee: $10.00 per incoming shipment/package.
• The $10.00 fee applies to each separately received package or shipment, even when multiple shipments belong to the same customer or order.
• Customers will be notified when their shipment has been received and is available for pickup.
• Receiving and storage fees must be paid before the item is released.

The non-regulated parts receiving fee does not apply to firearms, frames/receivers, ammunition, regulated precursor parts, or any other item requiring a regulated transaction under federal, state, or local law.

Storage Policy

Due to limited secure storage capacity, customers are expected to pick up items or begin the applicable transfer process promptly after notification.

• Firearms & Regulated Items: Storage fees may begin after 10 business days from arrival or customer notification.
• Non-Regulated Parts & Accessories: Parts and accessory shipments must be picked up within 14 calendar days after the customer is notified that the shipment is ready.
• Storage Fee: $5.00 per day, per item/package, after the applicable storage period has expired.
• All outstanding receiving, processing, and storage fees must be paid before an item is released.

Items left beyond a reasonable period may be returned to the sender when legally permitted. The customer is responsible for return shipping and any outstanding fees.

Shipping Guidelines

Please ensure the following when shipping items to our FFL:

• Include a copy of the sending FFL license when required or applicable.
• Include the customer's full name and contact information inside the package.
• Ensure the customer's name matches the information submitted on the intake form.
• Do not ship unapproved or unrelated items with a firearm transfer without prior authorization.

Lindahl Holsters is not responsible for loss or damage occurring while a package is in transit to or from our location.

Compliance Responsibility

Customers are responsible for ensuring that any firearm, frame, receiver, magazine, ammunition, firearm part, or accessory they purchase or ship is lawful to possess and transfer in California.

Lindahl Holsters reserves the right to refuse any transaction or shipment that violates federal, state, or local law or conflicts with our transfer policies.
